As we had a slightly longer completion window than usual for auctions Omega suggested we go straight for a commercial mortgage. Omega received our formal instructions to proceed, with full credit approval subject only to survey achieved from the Bank just 3 days later, with the mortgage completing exactly 5 weeks from the date Omega received the go ahead from us. The interest rate was also lower than we would have expected even from a high street Bank.
